outline suggestions

Hi, been using VeeCad for a while, and thought I'd post a couple of suggestions:

Radial components- it would be good if the pin positions could be moved, including to outside the circular outline - upended resistors, electrolytics, etc.

Could we have a TO-92 outline?

Hello Peter!

A couple of users have asked for "up ended" resistors etc where you can click on a part and make it stand up, but this has implementation issues and won't be available soon. One user asked for stretchable radial leads and I like that - practical to program and useful.

For the moment, I suggest the leaded outline when you want "stretchable" leads. If the part is a radial, make the leaded body a square the same width as the radial.  Its not a true "picture" of the part, but the layout is valid and VeeCAD can complete your project.

I have seen both TO-92 and TO92 footprint names in PCB libraries.  I use only TO92 in the libraries provided with VeeCAD.  In the V_Standard.per library there is a TO92 outline.

I have a new release coming with better TinyCAD and VeeCAD libraries.
