Can VeeCAD generate a netlist based on drawing

Hi There,

I'm new to VeeCAD Smiley

I'm using VeeCAD in "simpified mode" and was wondering how I would be able to have coloured nets without netlist.

The net colouring feature is very handy when it comes to check a circuit, even more when this circuit has not been made in a shema editor.

Is it possible?

Sorry, at the moment you can't color without a netlist, and you can't export a netlist.

I can see the potential for these features, so I have added them to my planning list and will be coding soon.

VeeCAD now has this feature since V2.42.0.0.

On the VeeCAD menu, go "Netlist -> Make from Layout".

You can export whatever netlist is currently held in your project with "Netlist -> Export" to save a file in Protel format.

You can delete any netlist with "Netlist -> Clear".

A generated netlist can can display colored nets just like an imported netlist - on the menu go "Netlist -> Colors".
